WWII document signed by Heinrich Himmler, leader of the SS secret police under Hitler. Written upon SS letterhead as its Reichsfuhrer, document dated 20 October 1932 appoints Walter Langleist to the leadership of an SS Combat Unit. Langleist was ultimately executed in 1946 for war crimes as a commander of the Dachau concentration camp. Signed ''H. Himmler'' as ''Der Reichsfuhrer SS'' at bottom. Measures 8'' x 7.5''. Light foxing, and trimming and punch holes to left edge. Very good condition.
