Laura Ingalls Wilder autograph letter signed, one of the few penned by the ''Little House'' author. Wilder writes to a Miss Margaret Kinison from her Rocky Ridge farm in Mansfield Missouri on 15 March 1949. In full: ''Dear Miss Kinison / Thank you for the nice things you say about my 'Little House Books'. Your stories 'Children of New Salem' must be very interesting and I wish you a great success with them. Being so busy with other things I am doing no writing and very little reading these days. / With kindest regards / Yours sincerely / Laura Ingalls Wilder''. Includes original postmarked envelope, where Wilder writes her return address upon the back flap. Letter measures 5'' x 8''. Uniform toning, overall very good.
