Declaration of Independence signer Charles Carroll of Carrollton check endorsement ''Ch. Carroll of Carrollton'', dated 15 December 1813 from Georgetown. Addressed to another Charles Carroll (of Bellevue), who has also endorsed the check, check is for the amount of $338. Slip measures 8'' x 3.5''. Toning, creasing and a 2'' separation along center fold, which has been reinforced on verso with a wax paper seal. Very good condition.
