Mary Astor autograph letter signed. Dated 21 October 1968, letter to her agent, Gloria Safier, discusses Astor's book deal for ''A Place Called Saturday''. Astor asks Safier to clarify certain details of the deal, ''...I'm sure there is an explanation. But please let me know how they figure it...'' and signs off, ''Love Mary''. Letter measures 6'' x 8''. Lot also includes a note from Safier on light blue translucent paper stapled to letter, and two documents from Doubleday Publishing explaining the royalties also stapled to collection. Light toning to letter, else near fine.
