Peter Lawford ''Rat Pack'' document archive. Extensive lot of Peter Lawford's personal papers includes: (1) Hollywood production documents, mostly related to his hit film ''Salt & Pepper'' with Sammy Davis Jr.; other pieces relate to that film's sequel and his television series ''The Thin Man''. Documents include 3 production budgets, United Kingdom Ministry of Labour document for Sammy Davis Jr. as a foreigner and assorted correspondence from Lawford's manager Milton Ebbins. Includes correspondence on vintage William Morris and MGM stationery. Also featured is original writing by Lawford to pitch for production; (2) 63 photos from the 1960's, many of which feature Sammy Davis Jr. and Lawford. All measure 4'' x 3''; (3) correspondence from Lawford's lawyers regarding his divorce from Patricia Kennedy, sister of John F. Kennedy; (4) copies of Lawford's tax returns and his 1040 form from 1973, as well as legal correspondence related to unpaid taxes; (5) a pair of matchbooks from ''Puccini'', the restaurant he co-owned with Frank Sinatra with both their names on the cover. Archive is in very good to near fine condition, with only occasional toning and creasing to documents. Originally from Lawson's agent Milton Ebbins, who worked at William Morris and acted as liaison between the Kennedy family and Hollywood.
