Marlene Dietrich's own Japanese porcelain tea service. Hand-painted in blue with a dragon motif, matching set comprises: (1) tea pot with gilt-adorned dragon head spout; (2) lidded, double handled sugar bowl; (3) lidded milk pitcher with dragon head spout adorned in gilt; (4-6) pair of matching cups and one saucer. Stamps to the underside read ''Hand-painted / Japan''. Standard-sized pieces feature gilt rims and raised white, green and orange paint as part of the design. One cup has a miniscule chip to its rim, else lot is near fine. From the estate of Marlene Dietrich.
