The Belenenses club represented Portugal in the prestigious tournament and were eliminated in the second round that year. Circular medal features the image of a soccer player, as well as the ''Beleneses FC'' logo. Reverse lists the name of the club and ''Fundado Em 1919 / Clube Europeu / 1988/89''. Weighs 18.9 grams.
