Renamed the ''Community Shield'' in 2002, the annual match-up pits the winner of the FA Cup against the champions of the English Premier League. Plaque reads, ''F.A. Charity Shield / Liverpool V Wimbledon / 20th August 1988'' and features a silver raised seal which bears the familiar ''Football Association Charity Shield'' logo upon a black octagonal base. A hinged stand affixed to verso allows the award to be displayed easily. Measures 5'' x 5''. Near fine.
