Conte crayon illustration drawn and signed by comic book artist Bill Ward, used as the back cover for the November 1980 edition of ''Funhouse'' magazine. Illustration depicts an eager man helping a shapely woman try on garter belts. Visibly written in pen on a cardboard backing is the caption ''We're getting close but I still don't see what I want''. Included with the drawing is an original copy of the issue of ''Funhouse'' in which the illustration ran. Also included is a color trading card featuring a copy of the image as well as a brief biography of Ward. Illustration measures 11.75'' x 16.5'', taped to a cardboard backboard measuring 12.5'' x 18''. The publishing company ''Timely Features'' is stamped to verso. Near fine.
