Lot of 11 vinyl records personally owned by Ray Bradbury. Wonderfully eclectic lot includes: (1-2) two copies of the record narrated by Bradbury from his ''Wilderness People'' production at the U.S. Pavilion at the New York World's Fair in 1964. Bradbury was commissioned by the government to produce a multimedia history of humanity show at the Fair. On the other side is the soundtrack from Bradbury's Oscar-nominated animated short film, ''Icarus Montgolfier Wright'', narrated by James Whitmore; (3) a record signed ''Ray Bradbury'' from the 1956 premiere of ''Moby Dick'' at the Pantages Theater, containing interviews with Bradbury as the writer of the screen adaptation, John Huston as director and Gregory Peck as the star; (4-5) pair of soundtracks for the musical theatrical adaptation of Bradbury's novel ''Dandelion Wine'', published by Lissauer Music Companies; (6) unopened copy of two stories from ''The Martian Chronicles'' narrated by Leonard Nimoy; record contains ''There Will Come Soft Rains'' and ''Usher II''; (7) unopened record containing the audio version of Bradbury's short story ''The Small Assassin'' from the short story collection of the same name, narrated by Bradbury; (8) record containing radio plays titled ''The Martian Chronicles'' and ''Mars is Heaven'' from ''Planet Stories'', which later was absorbed into ''The Martian Chronicles'' as the chapter titled, ''The Third Expedition'' and also selected for inclusion in ''The Science Fiction Hall of Fame Volume One, 1929-1964''. Record was published by Mark 56 Records in 1976; (9) soundtrack record from ''Moby Dick'', the film for which Bradbury adapted Herman Melville's classic novel; (10-11) pair of unopened copies of ''Dark Carnival'', the album by Bob Jacobs inspired by Bradbury's tales. Dust and a few scratches to the ''Moby Dick'' interview record. Records have not been played but appear to be in very good to near fine condition overall. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
