Ray Bradbury personally owned musical instruments. Interesting lot of 4 string instruments comprises: (1) violin bearing First National Institute of Violin label; (2) nicely crafted vintage bowl-back or Neapolitan mandolin without any maker's marks; (3) vintage carved top mandolin; (4) unusual 8-stringed instrument with a hollow body and single sound hole. Violin shows a crack along right side, detached neck and absent bridge, tailpiece and strings. No finish remains. Neapolitan mandolin shows surface abrasions. Carved top mandolin bridge needs replacement. Fourth instrument shows surface abrasions and strings need replacement. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
