Ray Bradbury sterling silver Shakespeare award medal. Substantial medallion features a haunting portrait in relief of William Shakespeare, signed by artist C. Joyce. Reverse side bears the name of the organization, ''SBC - TPAC / Shakespeare / Award / 'to thine own self be true'''. SBC stands for South Bay Conservatory School of the Arts and TPAC stands for Torrance Performing Arts Consortium, a group that honors poets in the Los Angeles area. Medal features a sculpted ring on the top. Suspended from a sheer red ribbon. Measures 2.5'' in diameter, not including ring finial, and 0.25'' thick. Weighs 10 ounces. Near fine.
