Award in the form of a beautiful solid glass book sculpture, presented to Ray Bradbury by the Long Beach Public Library Foundation. Bradbury frequently mentioned in interviews his love of libraries and their impact upon him as a child. Text is etched into verso, along with the date of 5 May 2002. Housed in a blue hinged case lined in dark blue velour. Measures 5'' x 7'' x 1.25''. Weighs 3 pounds, 8 ounces. Fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
