Ray Bradbury personally owned art by early sci-fi fanzine artist Hannes Bok. Bradbury helped launch the career of Bok by promoting him at the first World Science Fiction Convention, where "Weird Tales" magazine picked up the unknown artist. Art depicts a woman in a red dress on a verdant hill being encircled by a vine. Figure and greenery contrast sharply with black background, characteristic of Bok. Hand-colored block print is signed "Hans Bok" at lower left. Matted and framed to an overall size of 15.5" x 18.25". Near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
