Pair of preliminary cover art pieces by Joseph Mugnaini for Ray Bradbury's "The Day It Rained Forever". One drawing - done as concept art for the British edition of "The Day It Rained Forever" - features a figure playing the harp, sketched in pencil, then highlighted in black and blue paint. Measures 7.75" x 10". The other piece is an ink sketch on translucent paper of old men in rocking chairs; drawn as concept art for an illustration published with the Harper's magazine printing of "The Day It Rained Forever". Measures 8.5" x 6.5". Irregular edges to ink sketch, else near fine overall. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
