Ronald Reagan autograph letter signed on his personal stationery featuring the presidential seal in gilt. Dated 13 March 1990, letter is addressed to Lydia Hupfer ''Hup'' McArthur, widow of Peter MacArthur, a radio station program director who gave him his first big break in entertainment media 58 years earlier at radio station WOC in Davenport, Iowa. Message reads in full: ''Dear Hup I'm sorry to learn about your ailment, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I have a small ailment myself. Up at the ranch I let a big slab of sandstone fall on my finger. They tell me I'll lose the nail and it's very sore. Enclosed is something that might make your reading easier. Love Ron''. Written in black ink on a 6.25'' x 4.25'' card. Fine condition.
