Bob Keeshan personally owned Captain Kangaroo bound scripts from the 1956 season. Large volume contains typed production scripts for episodes 200-299, dated 6 July 1956 through 22 November 1956. Early scripts from the show's second year detail episode numbers, characters, sketch dialogue, stage direction, prop list, costumes, musical cues, revision pages and more, with occasional handwritten notes in pencil. Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering indicating title, dates and episode numbers. Volume measures 8.75'' x 11.25'' and weighs 6 pounds, 9 ounces. Near fine.
