Norman Rockwell typed letter signed on his personal stationery, dated 12 March 1974. Letter is addressed to a Mr. Brown and reads in full: ''In reply to your letter of the 7th, I am very sorry but I have had to make a rule not to have visitors at my studio. My schedule is so overcrowded that I just can't have interruptions. This I hope you will understand. If you are interested, I will mention that some fifty of my best originals are on permanent exhibit at the Old Corner House here in Stockbridge, closed on Tuesday.'' Signed ''Norman Rockwell'', 1pp. letter measures 6'' x 7.75'' with a very minor horizontal fold. Includes original envelope. Near fine.
