King George III document signed, ''George'' to the upper left. Partially-printed document, dated 3 September 1807, appoints a man to the position of Adjutant. A navy blue seal is affixed near the left edge of document, countersigned by the General of Musters and Secretary of War. Measures 13.5'' x 9.25''. Notations to verso, foxing, toning and creasing. Very good.
