Duke and Duchess of Windsor owned fob watch. Timepiece by J. MacMichael features a pure white dial with black Roman numerals, gold hour hand and silver minute hand. Housed in a silver shell casing with a glass window on the front showing the position of the hands. Window is surrounded by an engine turned guilloche enamel band in pink with Roman numerals in dark blue. Cover opens on a hinge. Measures 1.5'' in diameter. Tarnishing, some enamel loss near 8 and 9 o'clock, loss of interior crystal and lid tends to pop open. In good to very good condition overall. Provenance from the Sotheby's auction of The Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor, held 3 April 1987 in Geneva, lot 249.
