George Custer envelope signed, ''Mrs. Mrs. Genl GA Custer'' / ''Per courier Nov. 3''. Envelope has ''Monroe Mich'' crossed out and ''Fort Leavenworth Kas'' added. The right ends are torn away, but the Custer signatures are all complete. Envelope measures 5.25'' x 3'' with original 3-cent stamp intact. With ''Nov. 4 1868'' date written to cover in pencil in an unknown hand. Minor toning else very good.
