Speer writes to an American acquaintance Elaine Lincoln in German, ''...Today I must be brief because my wife and I are in Heidelberg the 21st and 22nd of September. Maybe you'll call when you find time. We could then meet in the evening or the next morning. Because as per your timetable your journey only continues in the afternoon from Heidelberg.
