Published by Doubleday & Co., Garden City, NY: 1955 as part of the ''Special Kansas City edition''. Truman's autograph inscription to the fly-leaf reads in full, ''With kind regards / from / Harry Truman / Independence / Nov. 8, 1955''. Bound in black cloth boards with blue and silver lettering. Top edges green. Measures 5.75'' x 8.5''. Small stain to tail edge and cracking to interior front hinge, else near fine.
