Theodore Roosevelt document signed as President. Partially-printed document is dated 2 March 1903 and appoints one Robert O. Ragsdale to the position of First Lieutenant of Infantry. Document features an etched vignette at the bottom with eagle scene at the top. Countersigned by as Secretary of War Elihu Root and by the Adjutant General. Measures 15.25'' x 19''. Some chipping to blue seal, else near fine.
