Richard Nixon Presidential Star Award from 1972, the same year he won re-election. The original crystal version of this star sat upon Nixon's desk in the Oval Office. Replicas were made and distributed to various campaign supporters and this replica is made of acrylic with the Presidential seal engraved. Star measures 6'' x 6.25'' and sits on a 3.25'' x 2.25'' wooden base with a plaque engraved, ''With Deep Appreciation / Richard Nixon / November 1972''. Scuffing to star in a few spots, else very good condition overall.
