Jessica Lange costume from her breakout role in Hollywood classic ''King Kong''. Costume comprises a revealing brown dress with woven straw belt and two strands of her white shell necklace. Displayed on a posed mannequin, costume is accompanied by a very large and impressive framed photo of the star in her iconic predicament - in the clutches of the giant gorilla. Accompanied by an original black and white 10'' x 8'' glossy photo of Lange wearing the costume and perched in the great ape's palm. Photo printed for publicity by Paramount comes framed with Paramount blurb affixed to verso, likely a gift from the studio to someone involved with the production. Also included is a 10'' x 8'' publicity photo in full color and the 25 October 1976 issue of ''Time'' magazine with ''King Kong'' as the cover story. Large framed photo measures 35'' x 29.5'' overall. Costume has not been removed from life-size mannequin for measurement but appears to be an approximate size M. Lot is near fine.
