Two albums of publicity stills from the 1945 film, ''The Great John L.'' starring Greg McClure, Linda Darnell and Barbara Britton in Bing Crosby's producing role debut. McClure starred as ''The Boston Strong Boy'' John L. Sullivan, the first gloved World Heavyweight Champion. First binder features 75+ glossy, 10'' x 8'' black and white photos, some marked ''Movieland 10/9/44'' to verso. 10 photos are detached and feature a young Crosby smoking a pipe. Cover reads ''Bing Crosby Prod. Publicity Stills'' in white marker. Album measures 12.5'' x 10'' with grayish-blue boards; some significant wear. Second album features an additional 90+ collection of black and white glossy 10'' x 8'' and 8'' x 10'' photos of the actors on set, housed in black boards measuring 12.75'' x 9.75''. Overall, very good condition.
