Marlene Dietrich's own silver-plated cassoulet candlestick from her New York apartment. Tripod cassoulet in the Louis XVI style features three horned animal terminals and hoofed feet and fixed rings to the noses on the sides, with a garland swag between each. Topped with a stepped lid culminating in a flame finial. Cassoulet was given by Dietrich to her grandson J. David Riva in the 1980s. Measures 8.5'' x 2.75''. Opening measures 1.5'' across the mouth. Weighs 1 pound, 1 ounce. Tarnishing and likely once half of a pair, else near fine. From the estate of Marlene Dietrich.
