Gus Grissom owned and used slide ruler. Pickett brand aluminum slide ruler in yellow has scales K, A, B, ST, T, S, C, D and DI. With Pickett maker's mark and copyright date of 1959 printed on the movable slide. Engineering tool comes housed in its original chestnut leather case with gilt brand name and curved clip. Measures 6'' x 1.25''. Some chipping to finish on the left edge and minor discoloration to verso, else near fine with fully functional cursor and slide. From the Grissom estate.
