As the second manned, orbital flight in the NASA Space Shuttle missions and the first re-use of a manned space vehicle, the Columbia launched on 12 November 1981 and successfully landed two days later. Obverse of coin features the shuttle in orbit beside two patriotic motifs of an American flag and eagle, as well as each astronaut's last name. Verso features their full names, ''Joe H. Engle'' and ''Richard H. Truly'' as well as launch and reentry dates. Serial number ''223'' and Robbins sterling watermark are engraved along rim of medal. Housed in original Robbins plastic case with serial number sticker to bottom. Measures 1.5'' in diameter and is in fine condition. With an LOA from Jack Swigert's sister.
