The NBA star and four-time all-star played as small forward for the New Jersey Nets, Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and the Washington Bullets. A top scorer, King averaged 32.9 points per game during the 1984-85 season, more than any other player in the NBA that year.
