Samuel Huntington document signed as Governor of Connecticut, dated 4 June 1790. Partially-printed document appoints Isaac Pinney to Probate Court Judge in the district of Stafford, Connecticut. Signed boldly, ''Samuel Huntington''. Countersigned by secretary ''George Wyllys''. With an official embossed state seal to left side, card-style document measures 13'' x 8'' folded horizontally. Foxing, toning and folds through out creating two pinholes, else very good condition. Additionally includes a small 4'' x 3'' portion of a document signed by ''Sarah Pinney'', wife of Isaac Pinney.
