Golf scorer belonging to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales in 1935 and engraved, ''HRH Prince of Wales''. Edward VIII's bakelite scorer device by Forscor dates to circa 1935, at the very end of Edward's term as Prince of Wales before ascending the throne in January of 1936. Features 9 wheels for recording scores at every hole, plus two at the center for scoring match play. An aperture at the bottom equips the device for convenient carry and storage. Measures 3'' in diameter. Rubbing to some of the numerals, else near fine. Provenance from Sotheby's 1987 Geneva, Switzerland sale of the Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor.
