Sir Thomas Lipton photo signed. Recognized as the face of his proprietary tea company, Lipton was also a successful merchant with his own grocery chain at the turn of the century. Portrait of Lipton smiling warmly in his trademark jacket and hat bears his autograph inscription upon the border, ''Yrs faithfully / Thomas J Lipton''. Measures 8'' x 10''. Some silvering, light staining to center and creasing to corners. Very good overall.
