Erwin Rommel postcard signed. The ''Desert Fox'' signs the edge, ''Rommel'' in heavy pencil. Postcard art is a color portrait of Rommel with an expression of long suffering. Rommel, a Field Marshal from Germany ultimately participated in a plot to kill Hitler but was himself killed first. He earned global respect for his refusal to carry out inhumane orders, and his corps was not accused of any war crimes. Measures 4'' x 5.75''. Adhesive and paper residue to verso, else near fine.
