Babe Didrikson Zaharias Personally Owned Golf Clubs Used in the Tam O'Shanter Tournaments -- Named Female Athlete of the 20th Century by the Associated Press

Babe Didrikson Zaharias personally owned and tournament-used golf club set. The legendary athlete used these in the Tam O'Shanter's All American Tournaments where she often emerged victorious. Set of MacGregor Tommy Armour clubs was used by Zaharias until she finalized her endorsement deal with Wilson Sporting Goods Co., and comprises: (1-2) 985T 9 Irons, (3-6) 653T Woods, (7) 152T Double Service P.P. Wedge, (8) Silver Scot #11 Wedge, (9) IMG Iron Master Putter. All housed in a Hughes patented pipe organ golf bag with four matching headcovers. With a metal tag naming ''Henry Bolesta / Golf Professional'' and Zaharias' name filled in. Bolesta was a well-known golf pro of the era and often played with Zaharias. Clubs measure 36'' in length. Very good to near fine. Accompanied by two photos of Zaharias with her clubs and an LOA from the Babe Zaharias Golf Foundation.
