Rare Signed Photo of 1930's Jazz Musician Claude Hopkins -- 8'' x 10''

Claude Hopkins signed 8'' x 10'' semi-matte photo. The American jazz pianist, who performed with Josephine Baker in Paris in the 1920's, was a successful bandleader in Harlem in the 1930's. This photo, with a backstamp of the Rockwell-O'Keefe, Inc. management agency, is signed clearly in black ink: ''To Corine Johnston / Sincerely Claude Hopkins''. Minor soiling and creasing with a small tear to upper margin, else very good.
