Beautiful holiday card signed by Maurice Sendak featuring art from his illustrated version of ''The Nutcracker.'' Card is printed ''Season's Greetings'' and reads: ''Dear Herb- Home! After 3 tiresome weeks pissing over the ballet (Nutcracker) in Seattle. This Winter I am home-and we'll see each other. Hoping you are well and that '85 is a good new year! Love to you and Paul- Maurice''. Measures 7.75'' x 5.25'', with original envelope addressed in Sendak's hand and postmarked 22 December 1984. Near fine.
