Renowned southwest landscape artist Thomas L. Lewis signs ''Thos. L. Lewis'' in red to the lower left corner of this 20'' x 16'' oil on canvas, depicting a field of bluebonnets, the state flower of his native Texas. Mounted with paper backing, upon which a Fulton Canvas Boards label is affixed to lower right on verso. Lewis was noted for his attention to detail and color, and this beautiful work is no exception. Very slight wear to edges, possibly from framing. Near fine.
