Rare architectural ambrotype from the mid-1800's of a building structure under construction with men standing at the center of the structure and on its roof. Sixth-plate ambrotype is housed in a full, intact case with red velvet interior. Case measures 3'' x 2.25'' with ornate designs and slight wear overall. Hinge closure is perfectly intact. The image is clear with light spotting and foxing to edge of photos. Rare architectural image.
