Powell, Sr. in thin calligraphy by an unknown hand. Subtitled, ''The Programs of President Lyndon B. Johnson'', book is a record of 47 speeches delivered by Johnson during his administration. Runs 506pp. and measures 6.75'' x 9.25''. Bound in navy blue cloth boards with gilt and red lettering to spine and a gilt stripe on the blind-stamped front board. Creasing to fly-leaf, faint notation to front free endpaper and a bit of staining to the fore-edge, else near fine. With dustjacket showing surface abrasions to the rear panel and a small tear to the bottom edge of the front panel, else near fine.
