American actor best remembered as the character ''Farina'' in the ''Our Gang'' film shorts of the 1920's. At the end of his decade-long stint with the series in 1931, Hoskins was the most popular and highest paid of the juvenile stars in the series. Rare vintage matte-finish 3.5'' x 5.5'' photo of the young Hoskins in a sailor suit at the height of his popularity, is signed in ink ''Allen, 'Farina,' Hoskins.'' Light silvering to dark portions and a hint of subtle edge wear, otherwise near fine condition.
