Vintage photo of the now iconic Columbia Pictures trademark. Five different logos have represented Columbia over the years, this being the third incarnation created in 1936. Columbia, the intended personification of the United States of America, stands proudly on a pedestal holding aloft a radiating torch, wearing a white classical gown and an American flag, draped around her shoulders. The ''Columbia'' name features prominently behind her. Glossy print measures 10'' x 8''. Toning, creasing, adhesive to border and a note to verso reading, ''new trade mark''. Very good condition.
