Walter P. Chrysler typed letter signed as Chrysler's Chairman of the Board, dated 24 January 1928, the same year he was named Time magazine's Man of the Year. Addressed to a New York Evening Post editor, letter reads in full, ''Thank you very much for your kindness in sending me a copy of the 'Annual Business Survey' gotten out by your paper. The contributions seem to have covered the business and financial fields very thoroughly, and I am sure that many of the articles will prove of great interest me.'' Signed ''W.P. Chrysler'' clearly in black ink. 1pp. letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Minor toning, very good.
