Very rare ''March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom'' 1963 program, where Martin Luther King famously delivered his ''I Have a Dream'' speech. Four page program dated 28 August 1963 lists the event's speakers, an area map, a list of ten demands including desegregation of schools and the event's statement of purpose which reads in part, ''The Washington March...will be orderly, but not subservient. It will be proud, but not arrogant. It will be non-violent, but not timid...'' Measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Light toning and creasing, else near fine.
