The Sex Pistols' notorious ''Oliver Twist Manifesto'' poster promoting their legendary Christmas Day 1977 concert at the Ivanhoe in Huddersfield. This was the last show the tragic punk band would ever play in Britain. The concert was put on to benefit working class children whose parents had been laid off. Sex Pistols' manager Malcolm McLaren designed the poster, deriving its name from McLaren's vision of the band as a rag tag group of disenfranchised orphan boys on the streets of England. This is one of the rare single-sided test prints before the poster's final issue as a double-sided item. Measures 11.75'' x 16.25''. Three horizontal folds run through illustration and text, causing a 1'' tear along right edge of center fold. Three additional small chips and tears also affect right edge. Some toning and foxing in spots, overall very good condition.
