Van Heflin's "Certificate of Victory" from a boxing match he won in 1937, signed by boxing great James Jeffries. Partially-printed document is dated 8 July 1937 and congratulates Heflin on defeating Lou Landers in an amateur boxing bout by KO in the 3rd round. Single-page document states it is presented by the James J. Jeffreis School of Boxing. Also signed by Ed Larrell as "Matchmaker" and "Rolf H. Jackson" as State Inspector. Measures 9" x 11.75". Creasing and separation starting at fold, else near fine.
