Silver bowl gifted by John F. Kennedy to his mother-in-law. Gorham brand sterling silver bowl is engraved, "For Mummy from Jack" on one side. Monteith bowl is designed to chill eight pieces of stemware. Accompanied by an autograph note signed as President on White House stationery, reading in full, "For Mummy from J.F.K. and the people of R.I. with love". Footed bowl measures 3.75" high with an 8" diameter. Near fine.
