Annie Oakley autograph letter signed on ''The Union Metallic Cartridge Co. / U. M. C. Ammunition, Bridgeport, Conn. U.S.A.'' letterhead, with no date. Letter is addressed to a Mr. R.G. Williams of Akron, Ohio and reads in full: ''My dear Mr. Williams / yours recd./ I tried to get you on phone Saturday & they told me phone had been removed. I wanted Pam & you to come to dinner, as Mr. B left yesterday for 2 weeks trip. Want you to come any time & bring Pam & Mr. Gen... [?] to dine only let me know before so I will be home. Don't know just how long I will keep Sally. She likes to go out nights to well to quite suit me. Best wishes to all. Sincerely, Annie Oakley''. Letter measures 6'' x 9.5'' on one page with minor folds and toning. Includes original envelope. Near fine.
