One page, 12'' x 8.25'', New York, July 9, 1863, certifying that ''Alex Holland . . . is entitled to Six (6) Shares in the American Express Company.'' Cancellation inscription is smudged and runs through the signatures of Fargo and Holland. A large waterstain through the majority of the document does not affect the text.
